What is Lifeline Program?
The Lifeline program is a federally funded government program that aims to provide phone service and internet access to low-income individuals. How to qualify for Lifeline?
There are two ways to qualify for the Lifeline discount: based on household income or participation in government benefit programs. Only one discount per eligible household is permitted and is non-transferable to another person. The discount is tied to a single, primary residential address and the service must be used once per every 30 days.
